Dr. Monica Butnariu is a Professor of Chemistry & Biochemistry and has two postdoctoral studies from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy and in Materials Science and Engineering of the "Transylvania" University, Brasov, and has participated in many international conferences, seminars, congresses, symposiums, and international forums around the world. In addition, She has published numerous articles included in the Science Citation Index (SCI), International Scientific Indexing (ISI), and a Citation Report of 68 Results from the Web of Science Core with an h- index = 30. She has written several books and book chapters in different areas of Chemistry, Biochemistry and has been awarded awards, and scholarships, and has numerous editorial assignments in many globally reputed journals.
Moreover, Prof. Butnariu is a member of several international academic research institutions around the world. In addition, She has received the Romanian Academy Award for Chapter Chemical Composition of Vegetables and their Products in the book Handbook of Food Chemistry. It should be noted that currently is head of the Head–CONEM Romania Biotechnology and Environmental Sciences Group and also a National Correspondent of the International Association for Plant Biotechnology an Ethics Expert of the European Commission Research Executive Agency and also an Expert of UEFISCDI.
